JAMALY 60100

Jamaly 60100 is a rapper with Mashinani Rebel Army. He went professionally in 2008 after meeting the pioneer emcees from 60100 – Embu like Kimathi Marshall and General Maxima and joined the crew – Mashinani Rebel Army.

The same year, he recorded ‘Free flow’ alongside General maxima and Blaqrose. It received massive airplay in a number of the local radios; pushing him to a solo project and released his first single ‘Run E-city’ but it didn’t get much attention. He gave a second attempt by releasing ‘Siringi’ alongside Kithinji and V.i.see tha Vaccine it hit air waves and topped chats on Ghetto FM and Voturadio for weeks.
Currently, he is finishing up his first mixtape against the set plan to be released late last year due to financial contraints. Parallel to his upcoming mixtape he is working on a project with DJ sniper from Algeria where he is featured in new mixtape made for DJ Sniper’s TV show called ‘Hip hop magh’.
Talking to Voturadio, he is said, he planning to release a new single ‘Tuko on’ a dedication to all his fans date not confirmed.
60100 refers to the postal code of Embu where Jamaly was born and raised. Having the code as part of his name reflects his love for Embu. He has a clothline too with the same code ’60100 wear’.
