The Nyamira government signed an anti-corruption pact with the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission.
The pact is set to employ a 15 point action plan, to not only fight corruption, but prevent it.
Charles Rasugu spoke to the counties residents, to urge them to avoid any participation in corruption and anti-governmental activities.
This was the culmination of a week long forum aimed at public sensitisation.
He said to the media, "Kisii and Nyamira counties were among the places where members of public readily give bribes to government officials to gain favours, adding that the behaviour makes war against corruption difficult to win."
